The WasaGroup staff is developed with the lessons learned from Formula One
WasaGroup starts a large-scale collaboration with Hintsa Performance.
Hintsa Performance's coaches include 12 Formula 1 world champions, including Kimi Räikkönen, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton, as well as executives from some of the world's biggest companies. Now the coaching doctrines developed in Formula 1 are being brought to the real estate development and construction industry as WasaGroup begins a large-scale collaboration with Hintsa Performance.
In Formula One, a pit stop happens in the blink of an eye. The action is efficient, precise and of high quality, and the teamwork is seamless. There is no margin for error, because a second lost in the pits is hard to make up on the track.
The same is true for WasaGroup's Wasa360 real estate development concept, which combines real estate development, design and construction with real estate investment, maintenance, rental and sales.
WasaGroup is a real estate development group based in Vaasa, specialising in the implementation of large-scale real estate projects as a whole. Seamless cooperation between professionals from different fields is also central to WasaGroup's operations.
WasaGroup will use Hintsa Performance's world-class lessons to support the development of managers and staff. The goal this time is not a world championship, but a well-rounded, motivated workforce that enjoys their work and life.
"This is a significant investment in staff wellbeing, training and the wellbeing of the whole work community. When employees do well, the company does well. With Hintsa Performance's coaching workshops, employees find more gears for life and work," says Ari Tyynismaa, CEO of WasaGroup.
For more than 20 years, Hintsa Performance has developed unique methods to improve people's wellbeing and, in turn, their motivation and performance. Methods based on improving individual well-being have been applied in many different fields. Hintsa's clients range from top athletes to executives of major international companies.
"We are perhaps best known for our work in elite sport, but we work across a very broad front, helping people to develop in different areas. We are delighted to be working with WasaGroup. " says Juha Äkräs, who has worked as a human resources manager at Nokia and is currently chairman of the board at Hintsa Performance.
Tailored to WasaGroup, the Hintsa programme aims to improve the overall wellbeing of employees and support their development in managing themselves and others, and in building a good working community. According to the principles of the Hintsa programme, performance and success is a consequence and by-product of well-being.
Jani Peräsarka, CEO of WasaGroup Funds, is looking forward to the coaches from Hintsa Performance getting to know the WasaGroup organisation.
"We have tough targets in the Group. We want the people of WasaGroup to do well and to keep pushing themselves to the next level. Hintsa Performance will be an important partner for WasaGroup in this work," says Jani Peräsarka.
