WasaGroup celebrates its 20th anniversary!
The story of WasaGroup Oy, a real estate and construction group, began 20 years ago with the establishment of WasaCon.
In 1996, WasaCon Oy was founded and started to do construction work in the Vaasa economic area. Today, WasaCon is the largest private construction company in the old Vaasa County, carrying out both new buildings and renovation and extension work.
In 2002, WasaTrade Oy was established as a machine rental company. Today, WasaTrade serves in Vaasa, Helsinki and Närpiö. For certain product groups WasaTrade serves customers throughout Finland. WasaTrade rents construction machinery, but offers its customers comprehensive packages including installations and other work services. WasaTrade provides its customers with comprehensive service packages for setting up construction sites and production sites.
WasaTrade also provides industrial services, in particular in the field of industrial site improvement and equipment.
WasaTrade is today the second largest private general machine rental company in Finland.
In 2009, the group's parent company WasaGroup Oy was established, which today provides real estate development services, construction and supervision services, real estate asset management and real estate investment services nationwide.
In 2010, WasaPlan Oy was established as a one-person design office, which started with architectural design. Today WasaPlan provides architectural design services, structural design services and building services engineering design services with a team of about 10 people.
In 2011, WasaSteel Oy was established as a steel construction supplier, supplying steel structures and steel products from design to installation.
In 2013, the first WasaGroup Funds real estate development fund was launched. The WGF funds have now completed real estate investments of around €60 million and raised over €20 million in investments.
Over the years, WasaGroup has grown from a cluster of companies with a turnover of around €10-15 million to a tightly integrated group with a turnover of over €60 million, whose services cover the entire real estate and construction sector. The WasaGroup provides services to property users, developers, owners and real estate investors.
WasaGroup is a Finnish private company owned by Ari Tyynismaa and Jani Peräsarka. WasaGroup offers interesting and challenging jobs for nearly 200 people, of which the number of salaried employees has grown from a couple of dozen to more than 60 in just a few years.
