WasaCon's commercial property completed in Vaasa
Construction company WasaCon Oy completed a commercial property for Airaksinen Invest Oy in Klemettilä, Vaasa. The commercial building was built to meet the needs of one user and was completed on schedule.
The new 1622 square meter commercial property was built in a challengingly tight location. The tip of the area known as the Klemettilä triangle is bordered by the road on two sides and the third side is bordered by the parking lot of an operating grocery store and fast food restaurant. The construction work was completed without causing any major disruption to other operators in the area or to traffic in the area.
The magnificent rust-red surface of the commercial building is realized with Ruukki's Patina sandwich panel, the outer surface of which is weather-resistant Cor-Ten® steel material. The expressive and natural-looking patina surface develops over time as the red-brown color of the patina darkens when exposed to weather conditions. The building's CorTen® surface is realized with a sandwich panel, and this combination was used for the first time in Finland on this site.
Clas Ohlson, the user of the property, will open the doors of the new store to its customers in October 2022.
