WasaCon staff very satisfied with their job and their employer

According to the 2013 Wellbeing at Work Survey by pension insurance company Etera, WasaCon employees, managers and officers are more satisfied with their job content and job satisfaction, as well as their employer, than the national average for construction workers.

According to the survey, 90% were satisfied with their employer, compared to 69% for the industry as a whole. As many as 90% of white-collar workers were very satisfied with their employer, compared with 20% nationally.

WasaCon employees, supervisors and managers are particularly satisfied with their job orientation, leadership and the influence they have on their own work. They also value the flexibility of the workplace. Many respondents emphasise the value of skills in the workplace and the opportunities given to employees to organise their own work. The main wish is for better communication, especially between staff and employees.

None of the respondents said they were considering changing jobs, while in the industry as a whole at least 50% were considering changing jobs at some level.

Employees and staff particularly value good team spirit and a good working atmosphere in the workplace. The responses highlight the importance of a good team and a good working atmosphere, as well as the motivation level of the whole team. Respondents also value the Group-wide spirit of cooperation and helping colleagues, as well as the low level of organisation. WasaCon staff feel that their well-being and working capacity is generally very good.

WasaCon's aim is to maintain the good team spirit and a culture of working together, valuing and helping colleagues in a growing company and group.
