Two prestigious certificates for WasaCon
WasaCon Oy has obtained two important certifications - ISO 9001:2015 for the management system and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management. This is yet another confirmation of WasaCon's commitment to management, quality and the environment. This supports WasaCon's role as a responsible player in the real estate and construction industry.
The audit was carried out in November 2023 by DNV and the certificates were issued in December 2023.
Finnish RALA certification is more commonly used in the construction industry, but WasaCon wanted to go for ISO standards because they are internationally known and respected.

ISO 9001:2015
With a certified ISO 9001 management system, WasaCon implements its own quality strategy systematically and with effective processes. The system is designed to help establish and maintain operational processes and to promote good practice in the cooperation between the company's staff, customers and stakeholders.
- We have documented processes and procedures that increase awareness within our organisation and ensure consistency. This also increases well-being and job satisfaction when things are done according to uniform practices," says Juus.
ISO 14001:2015
The ISO 14001 environmental certificate indicates that WasaCon complies with environmental legislation, recognises the environmental impacts of its activities and sets targets and goals to minimise environmental impacts.
- The ISO 14001 certified environmental management system is a natural addition to WasaCon's environmental management, which aims to minimise the negative environmental impact of the organisation's activities, says Juus.
