WasaCon Oy to implement the Koskenkorva school in Ilmajoki as a KVR contract
A two-storey, 2-row school building will be built in Koskenkorva on a plot bordered by Ilmajoentie, Koskitie and Vanhatie. The premises will also be used for early childhood education and pre-school education. A youth and multi-purpose facility will also be built adjacent to the school.
The school was procured through a competitive negotiated procedure, in which tenderers were required to submit with their tenders outline plans meeting the needs defined by the contracting authority. WasaCon Oy won the tender.
The works contract for the project was signed on 12.11.2025.The building permit has been granted and the works will start in December 2025.The site will be completed by the end of June 2027 and the school will start operating in the autumn semester 2027.
QVIM Arkkitehdit Oy is responsible for the main and architectural design and Suunnittelulaukka Oy for the structural design.
