WasaCon appointed as main contractor for the foundations of the Torkkola wind farm
WasaCon has been selected as the main contractor for the foundation works of EPV's Torkkola wind farm.
The Torkkolan wind farm will be built south of the Kyrön river in Vähässäkyrö. The wind farm will consist of 16 turbines with a total capacity of 52.8 MW.
WasaCon is responsible for the foundation works of the wind farm. The wind farm is expected to be completed by summer 2015.
WasaCon has selected Rudus Oy as the concrete supplier for the foundation works of the wind farm. This is the largest concrete procurement in WasaCon's history. It is estimated that the wind farm will require around 10,000 m3 of concrete, or around 1,300 loads.
