WasaCon to build Vaasa Electricity's new headquarters

WasaCon is one of the largest and most significant construction projects in the Vaasa region.

WasaCon has been selected as the main contractor for the new office building of Vaasa Electricity. The Vaasan Sähkön office building project is the largest single construction contract in WasaCon's history to date.

A construction project lasting almost two years will have a huge impact on WasaCon and on subcontractors in various sectors

- Jarmo Uutela, WasaCon

The large construction site will directly employ around 30-40 construction professionals for WasaCon.

WasaCon is building a new office building designed by Aitoaho & Viljasen Architects on the Vaasa Electricity power plant site next to the Palosaari bridge. The construction project is also very significant from an urban point of view, as the new buildings will be spectacular landmarks on the shores of Vaasa city centre. The new building will be built on the sea and on the sea, making the construction project also technically very demanding.

In such a demanding project, the experience and cooperation of the builder and the designer is very important.

- Jarmo Uutela, WasaCon

With WasaCon's long experience in challenging construction projects and Aitoaho & Viljanen's design expertise in several major projects, Vaasa will gain a stunning new landmark in the new headquarters of Vaasa Electricity and a confirmation of the success of the energy cluster.
