WasaCon to build new Scandic Hotel in Vaasa
Construction company WasaCon has signed a contract with Airaksinen Capital Oy for the construction of a hotel building in Vaasa.
Construction company WasaCon is building a new hotel building in Vaasa under a KVR contract. The new building is an 8-storey triangular tower block to be built on the plot next to the Postitalo on the corner of Rosteninkatu and Rautatienkatu.
Scandic Hotel will have a total of 55 hotel rooms on floors 2-6, doubling the room capacity of the Scandic Hotel in the adjacent old property.
The building will also include other commercial premises.
The main contractor is the construction company WasaCon. The architectural and structural design of the project is carried out by WasaPlan.
