WasaCon is building a new bank building for POP Bank in Kauhava, Ostrobothnia
WasaCon Oy has been selected to carry out the construction project for POP Pankki Pohjanmaa’s new bank building in Kauhava. Construction will begin with earthwork no later than early August, and the project is scheduled for completion on October 31, 2027.

A new bank building will be constructed in downtown Kauhava, on a site adjacent to the former city hall. The project represents a significant investment in the area’s services and cityscape, as well as a demonstration of long-term confidence in Kauhava’s future.

The project will be carried out as a turnkey contract, which provides the client with a clear and efficient implementation method. The client will have only one contractual partner for the project—a single entity responsible for the implementation of the entire construction project, with the exception of design. WasaCon is responsible for managing all subcontractors on the project and ensuring that the project progresses according to schedule and objectives.

The company makes the widest possible use of local businesses and partners in its projects, which strengthens the local economy and expertise even during the construction phase.
