WasaCon builds the third part of the Powergate II office complex
The construction company WasaCon is building the third part of the Powergate II office complex for Wärtsilä.
The construction of the third part of the Powergate II office complex, which will be used by Wärtsilä, started in July for the civil works and in August for the building services.
The first part of the office building to be built in Vaasa Airport Park in Vaasa Runsor was completed on 7 June 2018. Construction of the second part, which started in July 2017, will be completed in early October. The third and final part will be completed in September 2019.
The Powergate II building will have a total floor area of 16,652 m2 and will house Wärtsilä's global control centre, Wärtsilä's global control centre, and other facilities.
WasaCon is the main contractor for Powergate II.
