WasaCon to build new Kurikka campus
WasaCon has been selected as the main contractor for the new Kurikka campus. This is the largest single construction contract in WasaCon's history.
Construction company WasaCon is building a joint campus for the Kurikka vocational and upper secondary schools.
The campus to be built for the Seinäjoki Education Association Sedu will be a new campus area shared by the Sedu Training Centre and the City of Kurikka. The total budget of the project is around EUR 30 million.
WasaCon will act as the main contractor for the construction project. The contract is worth approximately €22 million and will take approximately two years to complete, making it the largest single construction contract in WasaCon's history.
The Kurikka campus will have joint facilities for vocational and upper secondary education under one roof. The new building will cover more than 12,000 square metres. The building will also include an open lobby area, which will allow for concerts, parties and meetings.
