WasaCon to build Kokkola Campus Hall
WasaCon has been selected as the contractor for the campus hall of the Central Ostrobothnia Education Group.
The campus hall will be built in the area between Eteläväylä and Teknologiakatu.
The sports hall will include a gym, aerobics and dance hall, as well as teaching facilities and centralised student health services. The campus hall has a total surface area of 3,888 m2, of which the nine-metre high sports hall has a total area of 1,218.5 m2.
Once completed, the Campus Hall will serve not only the needs of educational institutions but also the sports clubs of the city of Kokkola and the surrounding area. Flexible space solutions will also allow for various meetings, events and functions.
