WasaCon to build a bioenergy heating plant in Maalahti

WasaCon has been selected as the main contractor for the new biopower plant at Malax Energi Ab in the municipality of Maalahti. The new biogas plant will include a 2.0-2.5 MW bioboiler and a 2.0 MW light oil boiler.

The construction works for the building contract are estimated to cost more than 800 thousand euros. The construction of the bioheating centre and storage facilities of about 500 square metres will start in autumn 2013 and should be completed by the end of February 2014.
