New CEO appointed for WasaCon Oy

Aivar Juus , originally from Tallinn, has been working in the construction industry since 2000 and has experience in various construction companies. In 2009, he founded his own company, through which he has offered project management contracting, and has collaborated with Kaamos Group for over 11 years.

Kaamos and Aivar have also collaborated with WasaGroup, when they jointly implemented both phases of the Lapua shopping center and built the Pilke daycare center in Vantaa for WasaGroup.

"We met Aivar about five years ago through joint projects, and his way of working convinced me of his professional leadership ability even then. Now the opportunity arose to hire Aivar to guide WasaCon forward," explains Ari Tyynismaa , one of the founders of WasaCon Oy and currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of WasaGroup.

During the autumn, WasaCon's management was strengthened with diverse construction industry experience, when Reijo Siltamäki started as the company's development director. He has worked for a long time in his career, including as an entrepreneur in various construction industry positions, such as a real estate agent, construction evaluation and construction tasks, real estate development projects, and as an expert in quantity take-off and cost accounting, and also as a building inspector in the municipality of Alahärmä.

"I strongly believe in cooperation, where Reijo and Aivari's experiences support each other. Corona has challenged all construction industry players in recent years. We intend to take advantage of the market turning point and continue long-term development work," continues Tyynismaa.

WasaCon's future prospects are bright

The new year is starting on a positive note at WasaCon. The order book is growing strongly and several new projects are starting during the year.

“As our order book and operations grow, we will be recruiting new staff and expanding our collaboration network at the beginning of the year,” says CEO Aivar Juus.

"By utilizing the Group's range of services and our extensive expertise, we are able to provide high-quality and flexible service to real estate investors, companies in need of office space, and public actors," says Development Director Reijo Siltamäki, who continues that the stable and ongoing cooperation with WasaGroup enables the company to participate in Wasa360 projects.
