WasaCon Kokkola involved in winning design competition
WasaCon Kokkola involved in the winning bid for the design and construction of the Kokkola railway and bus station block.
An urban complex of housing, services and amenities is planned for the old railway and bus station blocks of Kokkola, at the beginning of the Kokkola pedestrian street.
The winning proposals in the design and implementation competition were submitted by Lujatalo Oy in partnership with L Architects, and local WasaCon Kokkola NSA Yhtiöt Oy.
The project is a €100 million development comprising apartments, an event centre, a hotel, commercial space and a car park.
The aim is to start construction in 2017.
