Wärtsilä's new office building at PowerGate II gantry height
The PowerGate II in Vaasa, built by WasaCon, is at gable height. The inauguration ceremony was celebrated at the site on Thursday 15.2.2018.
A party was held at the site of Wärtsilä's new office building on 15.2.2018. The event took place on the 1st floor of the B-wing. Speeches were given by Vaasa Parks Oy, the client and developer, Wärtsilä Finland Oy, the user, Ampner Oy, the energy solutions provider, and WasaCon Oy, the main contractor.
Construction of the project started in spring 2017 and has progressed according to plan. Work on the first phase A will be completed by the end of May 2018 and the second phase B by the end of September 2018.
The new building will cover more than 12,000 m2 and will employ around 700 professionals.
