Construction work has started on the Tokmann store in Vaasa
WasaCon is building premises for Tokmanni department store in Kivihakka, Vaasa.
WasaCon is building premises for Tokmanni department store at Kokkokalliontie 8 in Kivihakka, Vaasa.
the department store will have around 3,500 m2 of retail space and staff welfare facilities. In addition, a 400 m2 garden centre will be built adjacent to the store for the sale of gardening and horticultural products.
The new department store will be built on the site of WasaGroup's existing premises, in the existing building and its extensive extension.
Tokmanni is the largest discount retail group in Finland and the Nordic countries, with a wide range of products including household goods, textiles and shoes, toys, home textiles, techno-chemical products, tools, seasonal and leisure products, small electronics, dry goods, gardening and horticultural products from plants to garden furniture and machinery.
The new Tokmanni department store will open for Christmas 2014.
