Opening ceremony of the Vaasa Electricity office building
The new office building of Vaasa Electricity, built by the construction company WasaCon Oy, is at gable height. A large crowd celebrated the gable end on Friday 16.5.2013.
Vaasa Electricity's new headquarters will be completed in December 2014, next to the Palosaari bridge. In addition to the main building, which will be partly built on the sea, the construction project includes a second office building.
Vaasa Electricity will concentrate its operations in new buildings, where EPV will also move in the future.
The project is one of the largest and most significant construction investments in the Vaasa region. The project is also particularly challenging because of its exceptional location.
The new office buildings are also of particular significance in terms of urban design on the shores of the maritime Vaasa city centre.
