Urpo Koivusaari has started as Regional Manager for the Helsinki Metropolitan Area at WasaCon

Urpo Koivusaari appointed Regional Manager of WasaCon for the Helsinki Metropolitan Area

As Regional Manager, Urpo Koivusaari is responsible for WasaCon's operations in the Helsinki metropolitan area and the rest of Southern Finland, and acts as a front person for the work and project managers. Koivusaari joined WasaCon from the position of Area Manager at Lakea Oy.

"WasaCon is an emerging player in the construction industry, and it's great to be able to support the company's growth in the capital region. WasaCon seems to have a positive spirit and I look forward to our future projects. I have previously worked mainly in residential construction, so the leap into office construction is personally an interesting new field," Koivusaari says.

WasaCon recently completed the new Autoklinika workshop and paint shop facilities in Lohja, Southern Finland, and is currently building a new business centre in Tiiriö, Hämeenlinna. Construction of the Peltokaari day-care centre in Tuusula will start in late summer.

"We are aiming for strong growth in Southern Finland, and I believe Urpo will take us in the direction we are aiming for. He has extensive networks in the construction and real estate sector and a proven track record of successful land acquisition, which makes him an excellent addition to WasaCon," says Aivar Juus, CEO of WasaCon.
