We are hiring foreman and supervisors

WasaCon Oy was founded in 1996, and this year we are celebrating our 30th anniversary. Our roots are in Vaasa, Ostrobothnia. Over the years, we have completed a wide range of new construction, renovation, and infill development projects.

As our business continues to grow and develop, we are seeking foremen and supervisors for our new projects in the Ostrobothnia and South Ostrobothnia economic regions for permanent, full-time positions.

What does the job entail?

As a site foreman, you are responsible for ensuring that your construction site is managed in accordance with the contract and achieves the desired results. You oversee the progress of various work phases and monitor schedules, finances, and quality. In addition, you supervise and manage subcontractors and are responsible for occupational safety at your site.

As a foreman, you will be responsible for ensuring that work within your area of responsibility is carried out according to plan, as well as overseeing the progress of various work phases, monitoring quality, and ensuring workplace safety.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for colleagues who have experience in similar roles and who approach their work in a systematic, independent, and proactive manner. The position also requires strong collaboration and communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken Finnish is an absolute requirement for this role.

A suitable educational background for this position is a degree in construction management or civil engineering. We also welcome applications from recent graduates.
