Martti Sillanpää appointed Production Manager of WasaCon Oy

Construction company WasaCon is strengthening its organisation with new appointments and recruitments to meet an increased workload.

Construction company WasaCon is strengthening its organisation to respond to the strengthened market position in its field of activity.

Martti Sillanpää has been appointed as Production Manager of WasaCon. Martti started his career at WasaCon as a carpenter in 1997. Martti has progressed in his career to become a construction foreman on the Vaasa Prisma site and later on to become WasaCon's site manager.

Martti Sillanpää has been responsible for several of the largest and most challenging construction projects in WasaCon's history. Sillanpää has been responsible for, among other things, the largest waste incineration plant in Finland, Westenergy, the new headquarters of Vaasa Electricity, the foundation work for the Torkkola wind farm and the new football stadium in Vaasa.

As Production Manager, Martti Sillanpää is responsible for coordinating WasaCon's tender calculation and resourcing, supervising the work managers and project managers and developing WasaCon's business as part of the WasaGroup.
