Construction of the Tokmanni department store in Laitila begins
WGF I real estate fund is building a new department store in Laitila, at the busy intersection of highway 8 (Rauma-Turku) and highway 48 (Uusikaupunki-Tampere).
The Tokmanni department store in Laitila will be approximately 2,500 square metres in size.
The department store will be ready for Christmas 2015.
WasaGroup production
WasaCon is the main contractor for the project and is responsible for the entire KVR contract. WasaPlan Oy is responsible for the architectural and structural design. The steel frame of the department store will be supplied by WasaSteel Oy.
WGF investment site
The Tokmanni department store in Laitila is an investment of the WGF I real estate development fund.
The new investment brings the WGF I fund's real estate investments to more than EUR 13 million.
The department store to be built in Laitila will complement the WGF I fund's real estate investments in the Vaasa region and Satakunta. The Laitila department store will be located in an excellent location at the crossroads of very busy highways.
