Construction work on the Kurikka campus is gathering pace

Construction work on the Kurikka Campus is progressing at a furious pace and the shape of the building is already visible to the eye.

The shape of the Kurikka campus is beginning to emerge as construction work progresses.

The Kurikka campus will have joint facilities for vocational and upper secondary education under one roof. The new building will cover more than 12,000 square metres.

Site situation

  • Approximately 75% of the cavity slabs in the basement of building 1 have been installed.
  • The installation of the cavity slab on the 1st floor of building 1, block A, will start in week 17.
  • The concrete casting of the shelter will be completed in week 17.
  • Building 2, the renovation of the old part of the building has started with the waterproofing work under the weather protection.
  • Building 3 is in the foundation phase.
