The Isokylä Multipurpose House at gable height

The large multi-purpose building in the Big Village has reached its gable height. The building will be completed next summer.

The multi-purpose building will house a kindergarten, pre-primary and primary education, special education for the mentally handicapped, and youth and counselling services.

The multi-purpose building was designed by Perko Oy Architects and Tomi Perko was the main designer. Construction work started at the turn of 2013-2014. The main contractor is WasaCon Oy, whose sister company WasaCon Kokkola Oy is responsible for construction on site.

The construction site has employed around 100 people in total.
