Secondary school, Ylihärmä, Kauhava (1st phase)
The 1st construction phase of the Ylihärmä secondary school has been completed.
The primary school in Kauhava's Ylihärmkä, which was completed in early 2022, was extended with a new building for secondary school pupils, with six primary education classes, a sports hall, a music classroom that can be converted into a stage, technical work classes, domestic science and handicraft classes, two special education rooms and a public shelter.
WasaCon was the overall contractor for the project. Phase 1 was delivered as contracted and the client was very satisfied.
Construction was completed in November 2024.
After the completion of the secondary school section, the old secondary school will be demolished and in phase 2, during 2025, the new school buildings and the new canteen connecting the kitchen will be built.
