The extension and conversion of the old commercial building into a Tokmanni department store and upstairs office space was carried out by the main contractor WasaCon. The old warehouse and hall buildings were converted into grocery and office space in connection with the extension (2,200 m2).
The project also included the demolition of the old assembly hall.
WasaPlan was responsible for the architectural and structural design and WasaSteel for the steel frame.
