WasaCon will carry out a major renovation of the water roof, pipes and facade of 9 apartment buildings in Kajaani. The renovation contract includes the replacement of windows, balconies and water roof as well as the renovation of the HVAC system.

The renovation includes the replacement of the water roofs of Tornikuja 3 and 5, Tornitie 4, Koulukuja 1, 3 and 5 with wooden frames, replacement of the façade cladding, replacement of window and balcony doors, sub-roof work due to the new ventilation system and replacement of the rainwater drains. The renovation of houses 1, 2 and 3 in Sotkamontie 11 will be more limited, including the construction of guttering, replacement of façade cladding and excavation of rainwater drains.
In this project, the waterproofing work will be carried out entirely under a weather shelter to avoid moisture problems.
