WasaCon Oy was the main contractor for the KVR project and took overall responsibility for the design and construction of the new terminal building.
With an investment of more than EUR 4 million, 3 200 square metres of heated terminal and office space and 1 000 square metres of unheated hall space were built.
The terminal is carbon neutral. Its energy needs are met by renewable energy, using geothermal, hydropower and solar energy.
The site has been designed by WasaPlan Oy.
