DB Schenker's new terminal completed
The new DB Schenker terminal built by WasaCon in the Vaasa logistics area has been completed and handed over.
The construction company WasaCon has built a new terminal for DB Schenker in the Nordic Logistics Center area in Vaasa as a KVR contract.
With an investment of more than EUR 4 million, 3200 square metres of heated terminal and office space and 1000 square metres of unheated hall space were built.
The new terminal will be carbon neutral. Its energy needs are met by renewable energy, using geothermal, hydro and solar power.
The project was designed by WasaPlan.
